Tre Luna

Last week I took the plunge and submitted to a literary agent I’ve admired since I found her last February. I penned a knock-out query letter, and double checked everything three times. Forty-eight hours later: rejection.

Well. It’s the fastest rejection I’ve ever had, which I guess is saying something. Better than dangling for months and months before never receiving anything, I suppose. :/

Then yesterday I got an email from a literary journal where I’d submitted a poem, back in mid-August. I braced myself with cynicism for yet ANOTHER rejection… except they loved my poem and want to publish it.

WAHOOOOOOO!

Oh, good. My soul feels a little less squashed, now. Time to go keep submitting…
